OpenAI API Key

Follow these steps to obtain an OpenAI API key:

  1. Create an Account: Visit the OpenAI website and sign up for a new account. You may need to provide a phone number for verification.
  2. Go to API Keys: Log in to your OpenAI account. Click on your profile icon or name in the top-right corner, and select "View API keys" from the menu.
  3. Create a New Secret Key: Click the "Create new secret key" button. You can give the key a name for your own reference (e.g., "DREAMIO").
  4. Copy Your Key: Your new API key will be displayed in a popup. Copy it immediately and store it in a secure location. For security reasons, you will not be able to view the key again through your OpenAI account.
  5. Use in DREAMIO: Paste the copied key into the "Your OpenAI API key" field in the text generation settings in DREAMIO.
